NAIDOC Week Flag Raising Ceremony

This morning Daljit Bains and I attended the City of Gosnells Civic Centre representing Swan Transit in the South East Corridor of Perth at a Flag Raising Ceremony for NAIDOC week.

It was a wonderful opportunity to hear some of the local stories and view some cultural dance performances as well as get an exclusive early viewing of a NAIDOC Art Exhibition created by artists from the Langford Aboriginal Association being shown at the Gosnells Civic Centre.

We also spoke to local leaders about issues concerning those in the local Gosnells / Armadale community.
